ONION TOP AND TAILOR (mod. 126, 762, 777)

Suitable for cutting roots and tufts of flat and round onions ("borettane" , Napoli and Vidalia type).
The product is loaded by a porter type elevator, working in continuous operation, and discharged on a feeder fitted with channels for the correct positioning of the product in the cutting area. In the semiautomatic type the positioning is done by an operator.
Onions are pushed by chains with Teflon supports against the cutting area.
The chains’ speed is adjustable by means of an inverter .
The cut is carried out by side blades (2 ones each cutting channel), mounted on adjustable springs.
Wastes from the peeling operation are discharged in a separate way.
Available with 4 and 6 vibrating channels.

The top and tailor is made up of :
loading elevator, channel type vibrating feeder, cutting area with double blade on each channel, water sprayer, electric board .
